Set up Streaming Media Collection for Customer Journey Analytics
Follow the steps on this page only after you complete all previous upgrade steps. You can follow the recommended upgrade steps (recommended for most organizations), or you can follow steps that are dynamically generated for your organization with the Customer Journey Analytics Upgrade Guide.

- Customer Journey Analytics Upgrade Guide (Custom steps tailored to the specific needs of your organization)
A new upgrade guide is available that dynamically generates upgrade steps that are tailored for your organization and your unique circumstances.
To access the guide from Customer Journey Analytics, select the Workspace tab, then select Upgrade to Customer Journey Analytics in the left panel. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Like in Adobe Analytics, the Streaming Media Collection can be used to collect streaming media data for use in Customer Journey Analytics. If you use the Streaming Media Collection with Adobe Analytics, you should include it in your upgrade plans to Customer Journey Analytics.
As you go through the steps to upgrade from Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics, make the following selections to account for Streaming Media Collection data:

When creating the schema for Customer Journey Analytics, include the

When configuring the datastream for Customer Journey Analytics, enable Media Analytics.

NOTEIf your Adobe Analytics implementation is already using the Experience Platform Web SDK, this step is not be necessary.

When creating a data view for Customer Journey Analytics, include the required schema fields for the Streaming Media Collection.
Make sure you map these schema fields to the correct values in the XDM object.
