The functionality to activate account audiences to the (Companies) LinkedIn destination is available for companies purchasing the Business-to-Business and Business-to-Person editions of Real-Time Customer Data Platform.

Use this destination to activate your account audiences for Account-Based Marketing (ABM) use cases. Advertise to relevant personas and roles in your target accounts via the (Companies) LinkedIn business-to-business destination. Visit the LinkedIn documentation to learn more about account targeting on the LinkedIn platform.

For individual-level (or business-to-consumer) use cases, Adobe recommends that you use the LinkedIn Matched Audience destination.

Supported audiences

This section describes which type of audiences you can export to this destination.

Prerequisites

Make sure you meet the prerequisites below in order to export account audiences to LinkedIn:

LinkedIn account prerequisites

Before you can use the (Companies) LinkedIn Matched Audience destination, make sure your LinkedIn Campaign Manager account has the Creative Manager permission level or higher.

Connect to the destination

IMPORTANT

To connect to the destination, you need the View Destinations and Manage Destinations access control permission. Read the access control overview or contact your product administrator to obtain the required permissions.

To connect to this destination, follow the steps described in the destination configuration tutorial. In the configure destination workflow, fill in the fields listed in the two sections below.

Authenticate to destination

  1. Find the (Companies) LinkedIn Matched Audiences destination in the destination catalog and select Set Up.
  2. Select Connect to destination.
    Authenticate to LinkedIn
  3. Enter your LinkedIn credentials and select Log In.

After completing the sign-in process with LinkedIn, you can proceed to the next step.

Fill in destination details

To configure details for the destination, fill in the required and optional fields below. An asterisk next to a field in the UI indicates that the field is required.

  • Name: A name by which you will recognize this destination in the future.
  • Description: A description that will help you identify this destination in the future.
  • Account ID: Your LinkedIn Campaign Manager Account ID. You can find this ID in your LinkedIn Campaign Manager account.

You are now ready to activate account audiences to LinkedIn.

Exported data

A successful activation means that a LinkedIn custom audience is created programmatically in LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Audience membership is adjusted as users are qualified or disqualified for the activated audiences.
